Matthew 11 : 28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and lea from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
If we are dressed with humility and gentleness, we may dwell in the rest of Jesus Christ. Because Jesus was always gentle and humble. Humility and gentleness were the hallmarks of Jesus Christ. In other words, if we are humble ourselves, then we would resemble Jesus Christ, the nature of God. When we are humble and gentle, we will engage in the divine nature of God.
As soon as I woke up at dawn a few days ago,the humbleness of Jesus, which appeared in the words of Philippians 2:5-11, was brushed over my head, and I was determined to share about humility with the title “Engaging in His Divine Nature.”
In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:Who, being in very nature[a] God,did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature[b] of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,to the glory of God the Father...Philippians 2:5-10
The people God uses, and the people God seeks, are humble people. Jesus Christ himself came to this land in the image of a servant and served until the end of His ministry and showed the right attitude of humility. It is because humility is the inner garment of our Christian lives, and it is also the only way for us to represent Jesus Christ.
The life of walking with Jesus Christ is a life of humility and holiness in the Lord. Jesus said: "I am holy, so are you. I'm humble, so be humble, too."
The meaning of living as a disciple of Jesus Christ is to dress with the humility of Jesus Christ. Our inner world must be transformed by the nature of Jesus Christ. This process of transformation is the process of dressing holiness. I see this as a jouey of life as a disciple who follows Jesus Christ.
In the end, our inner world must tu into the world of Jesus Christ. The master of our lives should no longer be us, but Jesus Christ. A life of transformation, as Jesus Christ lives in us, should be the real goal of our lives.
When the jouey of living and imitating Jesus Christ becomes our goal, all the problems of life will come to an end.
