¡°It is finished.¡±
John 19 : 30. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
Sometimes we are so discouraged by Satan¡¯s attacks while we are serving the Lord for His Kingdom ministry. Even though we are fully engaged in His Kingdom ministry, we often face hostile opposition from Satan. Then we are frustrated and demotivated in our passion for the ministry. But we should understand that we and all who are the servants of God, will face hostile opposition from our enemies in our lives.
Satan always tries to prevent the Kingdom from advancing through the people of God. When you feel that you are being attacked by Satan while you are serving the Lord, then you may be encouraged by knowing that the devil is trying to stop you from the work of the Holy Spirit. Being attacked by Satan means that you are in the right place spiritually, for you are on God's side to advance His Kingdom. And Jesus died for us and raised again for our victory.(Rm 4:25)
Keep up the good work without ceasing for the expansion of the Kingdom of God. God is on our side as we are serving the Lord for His Kingdom expansion. One thing is for sure that Jesus already gave us the victory when He died on the Cross and rose again. He crushed the head of the enemy. Let¡¯s keep fighting the good fight which Jesus has already won. What we need to do is to follow Jesus one step at a time by seeking His Kingdom and His righteousness. God is going to uphold us as we are walking in the light despite all of Satan¡¯s evil schemes to destroy us. Be encouraged that Jesus has already won the battle.
It is important for us to be aware of the enemy¡¯s strategies. Through Jesus Christ we have already won the victory, and we don¡¯t need to be afraid of our enemies when they attack us. It is Holy Spirit who gives us His love, grace, and power when our enemies attack us. We should remember that Jesus always does the right thing despite being attacked by our enemies.
God gives us His love, peace, and joy even during our trials and attacks from the enemy of our souls.
