Matthew 22:36-37
"Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'"
¡°Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength¡± (Deuteronomy 6:5). This is known as the Shema, taken from the first word ¡°hear¡± in Hebrew. Modern Jews consider the recital of the Shema both evening and morning to be one of their most sacred duties. It was cited by Jesus as the ¡°greatest commandment in the Law¡± (Matthew 22:36–37).
God wants us to be blessed by abiding in His love.
As we remain in His Love, we shall be blessed. Jesus said, "This is to my Fathers glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love."John 15:8,9
In order for us to bear much fruit for God's glory, we must remain in His Love.
God desires to pour out His aboundant blessing for those who love Him. This is the very reason for us to seek God's love first.
Let us read how Paul describes God's way of His blessing. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28
When God commands to love Him with all heart, soul, and mind, He first loved us, and He is still loving us with all His heart, mind and soul. For God loved us first, so He could commands us to love Him and brothers. God loved the world (you), He expressed His greatest love by giving His son, Jesus Christ. God testified His amazing love through His son.
According to1 John 4 :7~12, we should love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
Abide in His Love and ask Him, then He will answer your prayer. "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." John 15:7
