The Place We Should Be
Phillippians 3:20-21
20. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
21. who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
We’re citizens of high heaven! We’re waiting the arrival of the Savior, the Master, Jesus Christ, who will transform our earthy bodies into glorious bodies like his own. He’ll make us beautiful and whole with the same powerful skill by which he is putting everything as it should be, under and around him.
When God created this world, He planned that all things were under his feet and where they were supposed to be. Each creation should please the creator who made it as they are in the right place Creator designed.
When the owner makes something but when it's not where it should be, the owner will be stressed out.
When you plan to make something with various material , you need those materials to be in the right place to make it. When God created this world, He desired to see all His creatures would be in the right place according to His plan, then He won’t be stressed out, and He will
be able to complete a beautiful piece, a Mastepiece in the long run. With the original purposes( Sola Gratia) God created the world as He dreamed of, planned, designed and created.
Every creation is like a well-prepared material in his creation plan. God will eventually complete the most beautiful world through the materials( His creatures). This is the reason why God wants all his creatures to remain where they belong.
I pray that the Kingdom of God will be coming into our place where we live, and the Lord will be our Master to change our earthly bodies into glorious bodies as his own.
God is going to lead us where we should be and make us perfect through His son, Jesus Christ. The place where we should be, is the presence of the Lord. Since we are called to be Heavenly Citizen from the Lord, we should live as a heavenly citizen by indwelling in the shadow of Almighty God.
Where do we need to stay? Where is the place we should be? We should ask ourselves these questions frequently since we are the children of God. God has moved us into His place, so that we should live a proper life as God called us to be as his child. We should clothe ourselves with His attributes as His children, heir of the Kingdom of God.
Since we are called be the heavenly citizen, we need to live under God’s sovereign rule by seeking His kingdom and righteousness instead of worrying about our daily lives by thinking what to eat and what to wear as the world is seeking.
The priority and primary thing to do is to seek for the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, so that we can experience God’s supernatural power and rule in the midst of our lives. God called us to be the Light and the Salt in this dark and depraved generation. We should live according to His holy calling as His Kingdom's Heavenly citizen.
Yes, Seeking for the Kingdom of God, living under His Sovereign Rule is the primary duty for all Christians. As the heavenly citizen, we are to seek for the Kingdom of God by Asking, Knocking and Seeking the Kingdom of God ( MT. 7:7). Then everything will be added unto us as Jesus promised us. “ Everything will be given unto you.”( Mt 6:33)
Father, let us live under the shadow of your almighty reign. As your children, let us live according to your holy calling. Everyday, every moment, let us live a life of obedience. I pray in Jesus name.
