Go and Preach the Gospel!
Mark 16:15
“He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”
Paul said that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set us free from the law of sin and death in Romans 8:1,2.
The Gospel is a good news. Jesus Christ is the good news. Because there is no other name who gives Salvation except Jesus Christ. So Jesus proclaimed that the people who baptize in the name of Jesus will be saved, but the people who do not believe in Him shall be perished.
Jesus Christ is the Only way, Only Truth and the Only Life for our Salvation. God opened the door of Heaven through Jesus Christ. There is no other gates where we can enter in the Kingdom of Heaven which God promised and prepared for those who are accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. For those who are believing in Jesus Christ by their Faith, they shall live eternally in the Kingdom of Heaven with the Lord.
This is the reason why we should preach the Gospel till the end of this world until Jesus comes back. We are not given this privilege to preach the gospel all the time. God has given us this great commission temporally. So we should have a holy burden on the people who need to hear this good news while they are here on earth. No one knows how much longer they could be survived. It could be the final chance for them to hear the gospel when we share. People would not be aware of urgency for their eternal death in Hell. However, we should let them know that there is condemnation if they do not believe in Jesus Christ and die, then they shall be in the eternal condemnation, which is eternal death in the Hell.
We should have this urgency for their soul around us. So please share the gospel of Salvation from now on in the near place such as your family, working place and so on.
There are so many people who need to be saved in this world. I was told that our country has only less then 25% Christian population including in nominal Christians who do not truly for sure on their salvation. What about 75 % non-believers? We must tell the Gospel for these people. We are talking about Missions so frequently in our church, but there are still more than 75% people who are dying without knowing Christ. We should tell them about Jesus Christ who gives them the eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. What if they die without being heard about this good news, especially among our beloved families? It must be disaster when we know that they are not in the Kingdom of Heaven, but in the Hell.
So let us be diligent to preach this Gospel of Life wherever we are and go. But we have some reluctant fear to share this gospel, especially in the public places such as our in the subway, bus or taxi. Because we feel that they might be very comfortable when we share this gospel of Salvation, because they would be bothered and irritated when we talk about Life and Death in Christ. So we feel some guilty when we introduce Jesus Christ to our friends and family members. But this is not right attitude. If we truly love our friends, family, and our neighbors, we must not be reluctant to share this Gospel of Good News with them, because we are not bothering them, but we are introducing the Heavenly Gate for their eternal Salvation through Jesus Christ.
Most people in our days are very negative to hear this gospel in the public and open places because of their privacy and individualism. In this case we should seek for the wisdom from the Lord. We should not be afraid to tell this good news but we should be prepared to share this gospel of Salvation at the right place and at the right time. We should be ready to share this gospel all the time. Sometimes, we may have only one chance to tell this gospel to somebody else as I mentioned. Their soul could be longing to hear this gospel of Salvation.
It is important to seek the wisdom in order for us to be an effective and brave witness for the lost. I pray that God will give us the tremendous and supernatural power to be effective and bold witnesses when we preach the gospel by being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. Let us take a close look verse 17, and 18. “And these sign will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and they will drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people and they will get well.” The Risen Lord has given us this amazing power to change the lost and the world upside down by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the reason why we need to seek the brave heart by the power of the Holy Spirit when we preach the gospel. Whenever Jesus performed miracles, He prayed for the power of God, and Paul also asked to pray for the power of the Holy Spirit… In Ephesians 6:19, 20says, “Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. “Paul was able to preach this gospel to the gentiles boldly through his prayer. So we should pray in the Spirit as Jesus and Paul and all the disciples for the brave heart and boldness to share this gospel of Salvation.
So now let us seek for the power of the Holy Spirit to share the gospel and seek for the presence of the Holy Spirit in order for us to share this Gospel of Salvation powerfully without being hesitate and reluctant. Remember that Our Father will be glorified and honored when we preach the gospel and He shall be with us when we tell this good news till the end of this world…. Let us read all together Matthew 28:19, 20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Yes, God is with us all the time as He promised that He is with us always, to the very end of the age. Go and Preach the Gospel.
