As God loves us with His full of compassion......
Today¡¯s Scripture : John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
As we are celebrating on the Month of Family, May, I would like to share about God's love and compassion which are 2 distinguished God¡¯s nature about us. First He has a full of compassion about us. Now let us look for the scripture in Mark 6:34, "Jesus saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd, So He begin to teach them many things. We can see Jesus moved with compassion.
In Mark 1:40-42 "A leper came to him, begging on his knees, "If you want to, you can cleanse me." Deeply moved, Jesus put out his hand, touched him, and said, "I want to. Be clean." Then and there the leprosy was gone, his skin smooth and healthy." When Jesus saw a leper, He was moved with a full of compassion as well.
The word compassion is derived from the Latin words pati and cum, which together mean ¡°to suffer with.¡± Compassion asks us to go where it hurts, to enter into places of pain, to share in brokenness, fear, confusion and anguish. Compassion challenges us to cry out with those in misery, to mourn with those who are lonely, to weep with those in tears. Compassion requires us to be weak with the weak, vulnerable with the vulnerable and powerless with the powerless. Compassion means full immersion in the condition of being human. When we look at compassion this way, it becomes clear that something more is involved than a general kindness or tenderheartedness
Jesus disclosed His purpose to come to this world in Luke 4:18-19, which was to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom for the poor,,,,,,,,,
¡°The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.¡±
We've got to see how God loved us with His full of compassion and love.Jesus came to this world for the poor,broken-hearted,the captives,the blind, and for those who are oppressed. Praise God who cares for us with His great compassion and love.
This is the compassion and love God had shown to us through His Son, Jesus Christ!
Yes, God has a full of compassion and love,
This is how we've come to understand and experience love: Christ sacrificed his life for us. This is why we ought to live sacrificially for our fellow believers including in your family and even your enemies as well and not just be out for ourselves. If you see some brother or sister in need and have the means to do something about it but turn a cold shoulder and do nothing, what happens to God's love? It disappears. And you made it disappear.
Conclusion;
As we hear the message today about God¡¯s love and compassion. By remembering what He had done for our lives, we may have a rich and fruitful life by participating in His love and compassion
May the Lord richly bless you!
