[Be a Blessing]
Genesis 12:12:1-3
12 1 The Lord had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you. 2 "I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.[1] 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."[2]
I shared the message that we could experience the supernatural power when we have faith.
According to Hebrews 11:1, Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
God wants us to have Faith in Himself. God is our source of Faith. In order for us to please God, we should have faith in Him. It is impossible to please God without Faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him, must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.
Yes, we should trust in the Lord who is Here and Now. He is always willing to give the best for those who seek Him. This is the reason why Jesus tells us that anyone who is seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness will be given everything they want. (Matthew 6:33).
When we have faith in God, we can see the miracle by God who causes everything to work together for the good in and through our lives. Yes, we trust in God who could bring the dead back to life with His Resurrecting Power and we can trust in God who can create new things out of nothing when we have faith in Him...
If you have a desire to experience God¡¯s miracles in your life, have Faith in God with your absolute surrender and obedience and be a Flowing River to be a Blessing for others..
With all the blessing God has given, we should become more like a flowing river which flows unceasingly than like a stopped up reservoir that doesn¡¯t flow at all and is stagnant. When God called us to be His disciple we ought to flow with the blessings that He has given us and be a channel of blessing to others. It is so important to share the things we have with others because all our possessions are not ours but God¡¯s. Many people don¡¯t understand their status here on earth. They are called to be God¡¯s steward as long as they are allowed to draw a breath from God. We should be like a flowing river in sharing our possessions, gifts and talents with others.
The Dead Sea is one of the most fascinating bodies of water on earth. The water is so dense, due to the high mineral content, that even a non-swimmer can stay afloat. A person can actually sit down in the water and read a newspaper without sinking. Bus tours of the area stop long enough for the skeptical and adventurous tourist to take a dip. The water reeks with a wretched smell. Fed by Israel¡¯s Jordan River the sea has no outlet. All of the fresh water flowing into it becomes stagnant. While it is interesting to look at and fascinating to study the water is undrinkable, polluted and putrid.
That is a good picture of a person who lives selfishly, of a person who is a taker but not a giver. God did not create us to be only reservoirs that collect. He created us to be a river that is constantly flowing. When we live selfishly always receiving, always taking, but never giving we become polluted. To put it bluntly our lives start to stink. We will go around with a sour attitude, not fun to be around, always irritable and hard to get along with.
And all because nothing is flowing out of us. Yes, God wants to pour good things into your life, but if you want to live a successful life, now you must allow those good things to flow through you to others. As you do your supply will be replenished and your life will maintain its freshness.
