Luke 4:21. and he began by saying to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."
The kingdom of God is the reign of God in today¡¯s world. The kingdom is the ultimate reality and sovereign movement of God in the universe. This is expressed in the transforming truth that Jesus Christ rules over all things and is evidenced by God¡¯s supernatural work in and through believers in local churches. The kingdom of God must be the central life focus that every person should seek and align with in order to know the full and abundant life God created people to experience in Christ.
God¡¯s kingdom is a synonym for God¡¯s rule. Those who choose to live in His kingdom (those still very much alive on Planet Earth) choose to live under His authority. . . . [This is] His rightful authority over our lives.
The kingdom of God is a present reality, not simply a spiritual ideal. The kingdom of God is real! You can see the movement and growth everywhere. Of course, the truths about the reality of the kingdom are mysterious to non- believers, but that does not make the kingdom any less real. Jesus has given believers the privilege of knowing the revealed truths of God¡¯s kingdom (¡°He replied, ¡°Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.¡±, Matt. 13:11). This kingdom can be seen (¡°And he said to them, ¡°Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.¡± Mark 9:1 )entered into (¡°Jesus answered, ¡°Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.¡± John 3:5), and inherited (¡°Then the King will say to those on his right, ¡®Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.¡± Matthew 25:34)
The Gospels are filled with examples of God's presence in the word.
Personally, I am always touched by the story of Jesus in the synagogue of Nazareth. There he read from Isaiah: 'The Spirit of the Lord is on me, for he has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives, sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim a year of favor from the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19)'
After having read these words, Jesus said, 'This text is being fulfilled today even while you are listening.' Suddenly it becomes clear that the afflicted, the captives, the blind, and the oppressed are not people somewhere outside of the synagogue who, someday, will be liberated.
Instead they are the people who are listening here and now. And it is in the listening that God becomes present and heals."
Yes, the Kingdom of God is within you,, God is willing to provide His healing grace upon you as you seek for Him alone¡¦ May God bless you!
