The Greatest Privilege : Prayer
Matthew 6:9-13
9 ¡°This, then, is how you should pray:
¡°¡®Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,[a]
but deliver us from the evil one.[b]¡¯
Good morning!
God has given us a great privilege as we became His children. That is Prayer. God opens the door for His children to access to our Mighty God at any time, any moment. Sometimes we are mumbling ourselves without knowing how to pray. I do not know how many hours you are praying regularly. Do you pray to God more than an hour or two hours? Some people say that that is not possible to pray that long¡¦ Paul urges us that we should pray without ceasing. How can we pray without ceasing then?
Here is the answer from Jesus as He taught us how to pray in Matthew 6.
These days, I am so excited to spend time with the Lord every morning. As you know, Jesus also woke up very early in the morning to pray to His Father. Anyone who has a very close and intimate relationship with their Father, they might be delighted to have a deeper level conversation with their Father. It was the same as Jesus. Since Jesus had a very profound loving relationship with HIS Father, He was willing to give His first time to His Father.
We may follow the example as Jesus taught us how to pray in order for us to pray effectively and powerfully.
This is the order you can follow
Seeking the Glory of God
Seeking for the Kingdom Coming
Seeking for your daily bread specifically
Seeking for your forgiveness
Seeking for the Full armor of God
Seeking for the Glory
Then you will be able to spend a very high quality time with the Lord.
As you spend time for this coming pray that the Lord will be blessing as you seek Him..
